Picked-up my targe from Ian, first helping with the installation of quick release QD sockets to enable attachment of a sling to carry it across my shoulder. After that Ian, Julie and myself toasted the completion with a dram of Famous Grouse. Ian had applied "bluing" to the spike and completed a stand to facilitate displaying the targe.
